AHSEC Higher Secondary (HS Final) Exams 2023
The Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC) conducts the Assam HS Final Examinations – the Assam Class 12 Exams every year. It is responsible for the conduct of the Higher Secondary Education (+ 2 stage) Examinations in the state of Assam and ensuring its development in the schools affiliated to it.
AHSEC released the Assam HS Final Exam Programme 2023, according to which the Assam HS Final Exam 2023 were from February 20, 2023 till March 20, 2023 in the Pen & Paper mode. The Practical Exams have been held from 25th January 2023 to 15th February, 2023. The examinations were held in two shifts i.e. morning shift from 9:00 am to 12 noon and the afternoon shift from 1:30 pm to 4:30 pm.
A total of 3,42,689 students have appeared for the AHSEC HS Final Exams 2023, as compared to 2,05,625 students in 2022. Of the 3.42 lakh students, 2,72,529 were from the Arts Stream; 47,485 students from the Science Stream and 20,907 students from the Commerce Stream. The exams were conducted at 856 examination centres across the state (up from 796 exam centres in 2022).
